Terms of service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement. You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly update information that changes.

You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us immediately at gigxy@gigxyllc.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Gigxy helps clients discover musicians and helps users communicate, agree booking details, and manage payments. Unless Gigxy expressly states otherwise, musicians are independent providers and are not Gigxy employees or agents.

Clients and musicians are responsible for the accuracy of event details, availability, pricing, permits, performance obligations, taxes, and compliance with applicable law. Booking-specific terms accepted in the app form part of your agreement for that booking.

Cancellations, refunds, disputes, escrow releases, and payouts follow the terms shown in the booking flow when the parties confirm the booking.

Gigxy may charge service or handling fees disclosed before payment. Payment processing is provided by third-party payment providers, whose terms may also apply. You authorize Gigxy and its providers to collect, hold, transfer, refund, or release funds as required to complete the booking and resolve disputes.

You must not use Gigxy for unlawful payments, fraud, chargeback abuse, money laundering, or attempts to avoid disclosed platform fees.

Gigxy has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not upload, publish, send, or promote content that is threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, violent, fraudulent, defamatory, invasive of privacy, illegal, or harmful to minors. You must not impersonate others, spam users, or use content you do not have permission to share.

Gigxy may automatically filter or reject content that appears to violate these rules. Users can report content and block abusive users in the app. Blocking removes the blocked user's content from that user's Gigxy experience immediately and sends the matter to Gigxy for review.

Gigxy reviews safety reports and targets action within 24 hours. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or permanently remove accounts, preserve evidence, and contact authorities when reasonably necessary to protect users or comply with law.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Gigxy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve Gigxy. This license ends when the content and related backups are deleted, except where retention is legally required.

The Gigxy name, software, design, logos, and original materials are owned by Gigxy LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, sell, or exploit them except as permitted by law or with written permission.

You may initiate permanent account deletion in the Gigxy app under Profile, Account & Security, Delete account. You can also review deletion information at joingigxy.com/account-deletion.

We may restrict or terminate an account that violates these Terms, creates safety or fraud risk, or exposes Gigxy or others to legal liability. Completed transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, and dispute records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

Gigxy is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee that every user, listing, event, payment, or performance will meet your expectations, or that the service will always be uninterrupted. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gigxy LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the service, user conduct, event cancellation, or content supplied by another user.

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or safety changes. Material changes will be communicated in the app, by email, or on this page before they take effect where required.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Before starting formal proceedings, contact gigxy@gigxyllc.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
